American actor and rapper Earl Simmons, born December 18, 1970, and passed away April 9, 2021. His debut album, It's Dark and Hot was released in 1998 to critical and commercial success. It was mostly telecast on the BET cable television network Never Die Alone. In 2003, he published a book of his memoirs entitled E.A.R.L. : The Autobiography of DMX.
