Kari Wuhrer was born on April 28 in 1967. She is an American musician and actor. Wuhrer first started her acting career when she was when she was in her teens. Her best-known character was for her role as Maggie Beckett from the TV show Sliders as well as her role as Sheriff Samantha Parker on the horror film Eight Legged Freaks. The youngest of her three siblings. She was a teenage singer performing in clubs, sneaking away from her family in order to perform. She studied acting from the age of 13 at the Wooster School. She then pursued acting at the New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, Marymount Manhattan College, Columbia University, and the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts with famed instructor Uta Hagen.Kari Samantha Wuhrer, a model from Connecticut is an American model, actress and singer. She was born in Brookfield on April 28th, 1967. Her mother is an accountant for payroll, while her father, German-American, is a police officer and automobile salesperson. Kari is the youngest of three kids. When she was in her teens performing in nightclubs, she was able to make a name for herself in secret, escaping to take a break. Kari was first introduced to acting in Wooster School at the age of thirteen, and went into drama school at NYU's Tisch School of the Arts, Columbia University Marymount Manhattan College as well as the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art under the famous Uta Hagen. Kari started acting as a teenager, and her first television appearance on 1987's MTV Remote Control.
