Amber Benson bio
Amber Benson is an American actor, singer, writer and producer. Her most famous role is being the character Tara Maclay from the TV series Buffy the Vampire Slayer. Benson has also directed her own films Chance, Lovers Liars & Lunatics and was the leading actress in those films. Also, she was a part of the movie Kiss the Bride. Benson was the younger child from Edward Benson and Diane Benson. She was born in Birmingham in Alabama, on January 1977. Danielle Benson, her artist younger sister. Benson's father was Jewish, and while her mother was a Southern Baptist raised by Southern Baptist parents. She grew up going to an Reform congregation in Alabama. In the years since Buffy ended Benson has been in movies such as The Killing Jar and on shows such as Morganville The Series. Behind the camera she put her writing skills into the Ghosts of Albion series and was the director on shows like the 2010's Drones. Buffy says that around 1800 Slayers exist across the globe, and 500 of them are members of the Scooby Gang. Slayers will become Slayers when they reach the age of maturity. Soledad's Slayer abilities were revealed when she turned sixteen. Ruth Connell will play Rowena in Supernatural Season 10. She is apparently the mysterious old-school witch.
