Anita Sarkeesian has been a Canadian and American feminist media critic for over 20 years. She is also a seasoned public speaker. Feminist Frequency was founded by Sarkeesian. The website hosts videos with commentary that analyze the depictions of women in the media and popular culture of today. She was only able to strengthen her position in her role as a feminist journalist. To honor the numerous achievements she's made for feministism, she's the recipient of numerous awards. She also serves as the director and founder of Feminist Frequency a nonprofit educational organization that explores pop culture depictions of women.
