Meagan Good's mother Tyra was a teenager when she worked for Panorama City as a manager and her father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman in LAPD. She was raised with her three brothers within Canyon Country in California and began acting in the age of four. She began her acting career as an extra in television series such as Doogie Howser Amen, M.D. and Doogie Howser Amen. The first film she acted in, "Friday", was released in 1995 at the age of 13. In the role of Cisely, a troubled teenager from Eve's Bayou (1997) garnered her attention. She was awarded two awards which included her very first N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good was in small film and also on television in the following several years. She started taking part in more serious roles in the early years of 2000. She appeared in the role of Nina in Cousin Skeeter a Nickelodeon T.V. Between 1998 and 2001, she starred as Nina in the Nickelodeon TV program Cousin Skeeter. In addition, she was cast in small roles for the films House Party down to the final Minute as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003, she played Vanessa Scott in My Wife and Kids. She was in D.E.B.S (2004) which was a comedy action movie. The film earned her the award of Best Actress by the Black Movie Awards in 2005. After that, she starred in various films like Cookout Venom Waist Deep and The Love Guru. The year 2012 saw her on both T.V. and films, she portrayed the character of Mya in the multi-starring Think Like a Man and Ms. Stevens in Dysfunctional Friends. Kara Killmer...........................Kara Killmer is an American actress best known for portraying the character of Sylvie Brett in the NBC drama series 'Chicago Fire. Killmer is originally from Texas was educated in Baylor University Waco Texas where she graduated with the bachelor of fine arts. The degree for performing arts was conferred in the year 2010. The actress began her career in 2010, when she appeared in Simon Fuller's web series,"If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career as a screen actress in 2010, after having appeared in several local plays. She was a part of Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its pilot episode. The reality series revolved around a group of performers that move into a house in Hollywood California.
