LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born December 30, 1984) is an American professional basketball player who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). The player is referred to by the name of King James and is considered to be one of the most successful basketball players in history. James has taken home four NBA championships four NBA MVP Awards, Four NBA Finals MVP awards three All-Star MVP awards and two Olympic gold medals. James has scored the most points during playoffs and has the second most career points and is the seventh player with the most career assists. James is part of the NBA All-Stars and 18 All-NBA Teams and Five NBA All-Defensive First Team selections. The ten NBA Finals is the most ever. He has also won eight times consecutively from 2011 to 2018, He was also picked for The NBA 75th Anniversary team. James was picked to join the NHL75th Anniversary Team. And in 2022 he became first NBA player ever to score more than 10,000 career points. James was a basketball player for St. Vincent St. Mary High School, which is located near his home in Akron Ohio. His future NBA career was hyped by the media. In preparation for his professional career, his team, the Cleveland Cavaliers chose him as the number one overall pick during the NBA draft of 2003. In his time as the NBA rookie player in 2004 he established himself quickly as one the top players in the league, receiving the NBA MVP awards in the years 2009 and 2010. After failing to win an NBA championship, Cleveland James left in 2010 by way of a free-agent to become a member of Miami Heat.
