LeBron Raymone James Sr. (born on December 30, 1984) was an American professional basketball player with the Los Angeles Lakers of the National Basketball Association (NBA). King James, he's widely thought of as the best athlete of all time and has frequently compared to Michael Jordan during debates about the greatest basketballer ever. James has been the recipient of four NBA Championships, four NBA MVP Awards as well as Four NBA Finals MVP Awards and three All-Star MVP Awards. He is also the proud owner of 2 Olympic Gold Medals. James has scored the second highest number of career goals, and the seventh-highest assists. James has been chosen as an NBA All Star 18 times. Additionally, as an NBA All-Star, James was selected to his NBA All-NBA Team on 18 occasions. He was the third player to play in the NBA Finals. Eight of the games were in consecutive order from the year 2011 until 2018. James was selected to the NBA 75th Anniversary Team and became the NBA's first player who has attained 10,000 points or more in rebounds, assists, and points during his professional career, in 2022. James was a basketball player during his time at St. Vincent St. Mary High School in Akron in Ohio. He was hailed by national media as the future NBA superstar. He was a pre-profession player and chosen by the Cleveland Cavaliers with the first overall selection in the 2003 NBA draft. In 2004, he was named NBA Rookie. He quickly established himself as one of the top league players, and won the NBA MVP award in the years 2009 and 2010. After failing to win a championship with Cleveland James left in 2010 as a free agent to become a member of with the Miami Heat this was announced on television in the special The Decision and is among the most controversial free agent decisions ever made in the history of sports.
